Installation FAQ’s
How long does the installation take?
For domestic installations, we usually allow 4 – 7 hours on site. This can depend on how complex the installation is, staff availability and other external factors.
Where will the electrician need access to?
Our electrician will need access to your consumer unit (fuse box), electricity meter, the route from the consumer unit to the desired charger location and your driveway/garage. Please ensure the full working route is clear from obstacles.
Do I need to be at home for the installation to take place?
Yes. You need to ensure someone is at the property at all times for health and safety reasons, as well as to ensure our team has access when required.
I have pets, do I need to do anything?
The majority of our team have no issues working around your furry friends. However, please make sure pets do not disrupt the electrician while they are completing the work.
If your pet is uncomfortable around strangers, or may become unsettled during the visit, please keep them safely away from the work area until the job is complete.
